Hilary Gietzen Shearing Sheep

Having the equipment in good shape makes for a better harvest of your wool. It takes a lot of time and expense to keep the tools in good shape, but it is absolutely necessary to do the job right. I usually shear alone since it takes a lot less help. One or two people is enough to keep the sheep up the chute, and the wool away. I usually shear around 200 head per day.
